Specialties

Among the varieties of farmhouse bread, there is white, brown, wholemeal and loaves. In addition, on Tuesdays and Fridays they make rye and spelt bread.

One of Can Torres’ specialities is traditional Mallorcan pastries. They offer a variety of empanadas (savoury pastries), such as chicken and onion, tuna with chard and egg and cuttlefish. They also have cocarrois (flat bread) and savoury cocas (round bread), such as trempó (meat and vegetable), vegetable, red pepper, onion and sobrasada (spicy sausage), and onion with goat’s cheese.

Also worth mentioning are their ensaimadas, especially the classic ones, with the cream filling being the best seller, although they make some more innovative ones such as the Kinder chocolate, Ferrero and pistachio.

Among the pastry products, the cream fritters, the cardinals and the puff pastry, which is homemade, stand out.

In addition, they have seasonal products for each holiday, such as the Three Kings cake at Christmas, the spinach cake for Saint Anthony’s Day, cakes for Valentine’s Day, the ensaimada with slices for Carnival and at Easter, they have a great variety of rubiols.
