Specialties
Among the varieties of peasant bread, the white and brown bread with sourdough stand out. Another variety is the xusco, a small dough loaf baked in the oven without a tray.
One of their specialities is ensaimadas. The most popular are the plain ones and the ones filled with almonds.
They also make panadas and cocarrois.
On the feast of Sant Antoni they make the typical ensaimadas de tajadas.
