Varieties of bread from the Balearic Islands

Specialties

Among the varieties of country bread they make are white bread, brown bread, and whole wheat bread.

 

As for traditional savory pastries, they make empanadas (panades), which can be meat, meat with peas, chicken, chicken with onion, vegetable cocarrois, and cocas.

 

Ensaimadas are one of their specialties. They offer plain and filled ensaimadas, such as black seed squash jam, Kinder Bueno, chocolate, white chocolate, cream, and burnt cream, among other flavors.

 

Other baked goods made in-house include Swiss rolls, rolls, and various cakes, among which the meringue cakes stand out.

 

They also prepare a wide variety of sandwiches.

 

They offer typical Mallorcan products consumed during each holiday, such as Christmas cocas and roscones de reyes with ensaimada dough filled with cream, chocolate, and other fillings.
