Varieties of bread from the Balearic Islands

Specialties

Among the varieties of farmhouse bread are white and brown.

 

Their specialities include aniseed doughnuts, ensaimadas (a type of spiral pastry), Christmas flatbreads, etc.

 

They make traditional Mallorcan pastries, such as cocarrois (a type of sweet bread) and savoury flatbreads, and their traditional and more innovative pies stand out.

 

They also make seasonal products for each holiday, such as fritters and Three Kings’ cakes.

Featured information

It started out in the Capuchinas de la Rambla. Currently the second and third generations run the business.

 

They have a product tasting area in the Dofi Las Capuchinas point of sale.
