The Bread Route through Inca´s different emblematic bakeries
Inca was the municipality that hosted the guided tour of the emblematic bakeries during the celebration of Bread Week 2025, an initiative of the Pa d’Aquí, Forn i Tradició brand of ADR Balears of the Regional Ministry of Business, Self-Employment and Energy and the Association of Bakers and Pastry Chefs of the Balearic Islands.
Montse Ramírez, editor of Xalest, was in charge of guiding the visits to the four establishments participating in the ‘Emblemàtics Balears’ programme which carry the ‘Pa d’Aquí, Forn i Tradició’ brand.
More than thirty people visited the Can Tomeu bakery, which offered a tasting of country bread. For its part, the Can Alba bakery prepared different savoury cocas. At Forn de Can Francesc, there was a tasting of doblegats and ensaimada. The route ended at Can Delante with the typical congrets.
Participants discovered the tradition and flavour of these bakeries and pastry shops. The tour ended at a prominent location in the city, Serral de ses Monges, to bring the day to a close.
