Guided tours of emblematic bakeries

ADR Baleares has been organising guided tours of bakeries since 2021 with the collaboration of the Associació de Forners i Pastissers de les Illes Balears and the town councils of each municipality.

Each route consists of an itinerary to discover some of the establishments that have marked the personality of the different municipalities, both for the history of the bakery itself and for the quality of the products that, generation after generation, they have been offering. These are itineraries to enjoy the tradition, culture and present of some of the most emblematic bakeries in the Balearic Islands.

Palma was the first municipality to launch this activity as part of Bread Week. In view of the success of the routes, they were extended to Campos and Manacor. Tomàs Vibot, a great connoisseur of the world of bread, philologist, writer, researcher and disseminator of culture and heritage, has led these visits so far.
